Grade 1 and Grade 2 are learning about Values. Each month the teacher will pick
a value for the children to learn about. This is helping the children to learn
how to play nicely with their friends, take care of themselves and respect
people around them.
This month, the Value is Friendship. The children will be given a Value card if a teacher catches them showing friendship. The child then puts their card in a draw box. Every 2 weeks, Grade 1A, Grade 1B, Grade 2A and Grade 2B will meet for a Values Celebration. We will talk about the Value, and we will also draw 4 names from the box. These 4 children are chosen randomly! They will have morning snack in the Elementary office with Ms. Sanaa as a special prize! They will have hot chocolate in the cold months, and some popcorn in the warm months!
I am looking forward to seeing our kids showing the values!
